Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of elevenplusprep, operated by TheKBS IT Consultants Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use the service

Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. The parent is responsible for supervising their child’s use of the platform and for all activity under the accounts they create.

2. Accounts and security

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for choosing a child display name that does not reveal unnecessary personal information.
• Tell us promptly at admin@elevenplusprep.com if you believe an account has been accessed without authorisation.

3. Subscriptions, payment, and renewals

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly or annually) as shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices may change; we will give you reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Where the law gives you a statutory right to cancel and obtain a refund (for example a UK 14-day cooling-off period for new subscriptions).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share, resell, or provide access to the service outside your household;
• copy, scrape, or redistribute our questions, content, or analytics;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform;
• use the service for anything unlawful or harmful.

6. Our content and intellectual property

All questions, explanations, designs, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant the parent a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for the private study of the children on the account. Your own data (such as your child’s answers and progress) remains yours.

7. Educational disclaimer

elevenplusprep is a preparation tool. We do not guarantee any particular exam result, school place, or outcome. Exam formats and school admissions criteria vary and change; you should confirm requirements with the relevant school or exam board.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12 months] before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Ending your access

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the “last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify the account holder. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
